Expressive lighting Exercise 1,2

In Rembrandts imagery he uses one light and a reflected, It is famous for making the photo appear more natural with little use of equipment.

The foreground remains completely unlit, bringing attention to the only to the light candle, i copied
the Imagery by using candle light as well but i didn't cover it i exposed the light to the camera but still letting the viewer understand the isolated lighting in the photo.

Take home question ch. 3

In this particular situation i do not agree with the Lighting director. If you used fall off lighting you would not be able to get a true perspective of the models face. If you use ECU it adds a cameo to the models face because the light is pointed directly at them.
